Local World is looking for talented Product Owners to join our national team in our High Street Kensington offices in London
Working closely with the design, development, commercial and business teams, the Product Owner will be responsible for the delivery of Local World’s growing portfolio of software products. They will become the expert in a specific business area and act as the liaison between key stakeholders and the various resources responsible for developing and maintaining the product, both internal and external. The role involves project management, aspects of line/team management, strong communication skills and the ability to confidently present to senior management.
A self-motivated problem solver with high attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and a proven desire to motivate and lead a team, the Product Owner will not only deliver products to a high standard but have the opportunity to contribute to Local World’s evolving digital strategy.
Successful candidates will have project management experience, be used to managing an onshore/offshore workflow, have an understanding of the tools and processes required to deliver products to a central roadmap and be an excellent communicator to both stakeholders and the wider team. Experience in digital publishing and Agile/SCRUM/JIRA is desired.
