UX/UI Designer

As a UX/UI designer at HireRight you will join an exciting team that is building a global application to screen millions of job seekers across the world. This is a great opportunity for a dynamic, creative problem solver to join a company that is focused on disrupting its industry sector through technological innovation. This role has been created to help support our growth plans and we are looking for an experienced designer to join our team. You will work with various teams to build wireframes, storyboards, and interactive prototypes for testing and building with the ultimate goal of translating any given user-experience journey into a smooth and intuitive interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Through research, analysis, definition, and documentation, the UX/UI designer will design innovative solutions that inspire user engagement, influence behavior, and strengthen client brands and drive profitability
  • Build, improve and use wireframes, prototypes, style guides, user flows to effectively communicate your interaction ideas to teams and clients
  • Conceptualize design solutions that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design problems
  • Design and deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and interactive prototypes optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces
  • Help drive user research studies to gain insight into user behavior and attitudes
  • Stay ahead of modern design thinking and practices

Skills & Experience

  • 2-5 years of proven experience with deep understanding of online user experience design and theories about human computer interaction and usability
  • Strong problem solving skills and analytical nature
  • Experience of working as a UX/UI designer within a lean or agile environment
  • Strong design portfolio that shows your previous achievements and eye for visual design
  • Expert with software design tools such as Invision, Axure, Illustrator and Photoshop
  • Excellent communication, facilitation and user testing skills
  • Familiar with web accessibility guidelines and how to cater for them
  • Knowledge of HTML/CSS would be an advantage
  • Experience in designing interaction that facilitate artificial intelligence and enable blockchain transactions is added bonus

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree in human computer interaction or design related discipline preferred
  • Some limited global and local travel required
  • Based in Brighton or London, flexible and friendly working environment
