We’re looking for a Product Manager to join our team! Here at Gooten, we are creating an e-commerce engine– as well as a suite of tools specifically designed to optimize e-commerce workflows– that will allow our partners to maximize their efficiency while running their business. You will work closely with our engineering, design, and business teams to refine the product vision and create a roadmap to lead us to success.

Day to Day & Responsibilities
– Lead the Product Life cycle
– Identify market and revenue opportunities
– Help refine the product vision and strategy
– Execute against the mission and vision by setting roadmaps
– Optimize the long and short term roadmap against business goals, and get buy-in for your team’s roadmap and vision across the organization
– Think analytically & ruthlessly prioritize against conflicting opinions and goals
– Measure the success of product features after release and optimize their performance through rapid, data-driven and customer-informed iteration
– Work cross functionally – design, development & other areas of the company
– Understand e-commerce and e-commerce best practices
– Solicit feedback from users
– Gather requirements and write UATs
– Own and understand KPIs and company metrics
Our Ideal Candidate
– 5+ years of experience in product, including some experience in a series-A or earlier startup
– 1-2 years e-commerce experience
– Self directed
– Excellent written and communication skills
– UX writing is a HUGE plus
– Ability to quickly understand, reason about, and fluently discuss existing and proposed software systems
– Empathetic and customer-centric approach
– Effective time management skills
– Solid work ethic
– Worked in agile development
– Clear and concise communication – technical and non technical
– Comfort with ambiguity, change – be flexible
– Willingness to learn, fail, re-learn and grow
