In the last 18 months we’ve been developing a suite of software products in response to our customer’s needs. We’ve seen a growing desire to utilise technology to capture data, provide insight and take action towards a more efficient business with improved processes.

Our plan is to invest further in this area and build up the software side of the business to maturity and the Product Manager will be a pivotal hire to help us in achieving our objectives over the next few years.


Role Purpose Summary

Your role is to focus on maximising business value from our software products. You should obsess over optimising our products to achieve the business goals while maximising return on investment.

You will be at the intersection of technology, user experience and the business. Driving forward the product strategy, roadmap and feature definition. Working across the business to bring products and features to the market.


Role Key Responsibilities

These are some of the key responsibilities of the Product Manager:

  • Optimising our software products to achieve the business goals
  • Creation of development of Product Development processes
  • Manage the prioritisation of work and roadmap
  • Communicate directly with customers to provide training and perform user research
  • Measure success of product through analytics and use of other data
  • Input into the budget and revenue forecast
  • Develop the product vision and champion the product within the business
  • Work with the sales, marketing and support teams to capture feedback, problem solve and provide demo’s
  • Set the hosting, security and associated cost model
  • Work with C-level execs on Product development and execution of strategy
  • Work closely with our Development Partners and provide good briefs with attention to detail and promptly perform the UAT
  • Build strong and successful relationships with customers and development partners
  • Develop your market knowledge and provide input into future product opportunities
    Support other teams to create the collateral for sales, marketing and campaigns in line and on time for product launches

Knowledge, skills and experience required for the role (Essential)

  • Minimum 3 years product management experience
  • Strong technical understanding (either Degree in relevant technical area or experience working with and leading technical teams)
  • An understanding how to build and protect valuable IP
  • Strong working knowledge of Agile methodology
  • Experience managing multiple products
  • Confident in Jira or similar project management tool
  • Experience working in a B2B start-up or similar environment



  • Knowledge of DevOps best practice and hosting options models
  • Experience with big data and analytics
  • Experience / understanding of machine learning / use of AI algorithms
  • Experience developing pricing strategy
