Company Description
Tamr’s data platform enables enterprises to catalog their data sources, understand relationships between them, and curate this massive variety of information. It leverages human expertise to learn about the data, and then uses machine learning to apply this institutional knowledge at scale. This ensures that data curation is guided by the people who know the most about it and reduces the associated effort by upwards of 90%. Tamr’s customers include Fortune 500 companies in manufacturing, life sciences, retail, finance, etc. and our lead investors are Google Ventures and NEA. We’re headquartered in Cambridge, MA (with smaller offices in SF and NYC), and were founded in 2013 by industry veterans Andy Palmer, Mike Stonebraker, and Ihab Ilyas.
