Product Lead / Lead Product Manager (Oddysee)

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a full-time Lead Product Manager to oversee a new software platform (Oddysee). This platform is designed to help entrepreneurs approach cannabis licensing and business planning through a streamlined experience that allows key stakeholders to collaborate on their most important documents. Our team has worked with designers and developers to create an alpha version of this software, and are now building out an internal team to lead the product moving forward. This person will help make key decisions about our internal tech team (customer success, engineering, operations, etc) and lead the product through beta and future builds, using data and experimentation to drive decisions.

 

The Lead Product Manager will:

  • Quickly get up to speed with the current status of the product and assess immediate needs and hiring plan
  • Become an expert in Oddysee’s market and users, revenue model, and sales operations
  • Creatively resolve product and business challenges as they are identified using product management skills and strategy
  • Work with various teams to identify key decisions and help prioritize issues and feature requests
  • Lead development of new product functionality from conception to deployment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they are identified
  • Build a deep understanding of our users through market research, customer interviews, and usage studies
  • Work with C-Suite and leadership team to drive company strategy and build product roadmaps
  • Develop goals and build out product team that will implement product strategies consistent with company vision

 

This Person Should Have:

  • 5+ years in product management roles (preferably in SaaS companies)
  • Strong analytical background with the ability to quantitatively measure the success of initiatives
  • Strong strategic thinking and communication skills
  • General technical knowledge & ability to communicate effectively with engineers
  • Phenomenal leadership and management skills (1:1’s, reviews, hiring, coaching, etc)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
