This opportunity is to innovate and develop commercial products for some of the UK’s fastest growing major digital news brands.
As consumers move at a rapid pace towards mobile devices, Trinity Mirror is undergoing an even faster digital transformation and growth. During 2013/14 engagement and usage of digital products such as Mirror.co.uk and Manchestereveningnews.co.uk more than doubled, and we already see a higher proportion of mobile users from mobile devices in the fastest-growing part of the market.
However, our current 44% increase in digital revenue year-on-year is only the start, and in 2015 we are creating a specific workstream to develop new commercial product revenue in areas such as native advertising, mobile advertising innovation and the development of new content verticals and partnerships across our apps, websites and responsive mobile products.
The successful candidate will work within this team and alongside our sales team to deliver new advertising solutions and other developments which exploit all the opportunities that this rapidly growing environment provides.
