Senior Product Owner (f/m/d)

We are Stryber – the largest independent corporate portfolio builder in the DACH region. We help our clients launch new digital ventures from scratch (and fix the strategy behind it) as well as build our own ventures.

We build web/mobile prototypes and MVPs to test and iterate business ideas quickly in the market. Later, we scale and grow the most promising ones to let them become leading solutions in their market. Simple click-dummies, rapid MVPs, and sophisticated deep-tech (SaaS) solutions, we have a variety of start-up projects ahead of us in several exciting verticals, such as FinTech, PropTech, Digital Health, Food & Beverage and E-Commerce.

  • Work closely with our Venture Architects and Growth Marketers to build several new startups per year from the ground up and make a positive impact on people’s lives
  • Work closely with our UI/UX designers and remote engineering team to deliver features with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • Clarify requirements, answer questions from developers, and write detailed user stories
  • Own, control, and prioritise a well structured product backlog
    Craft excellent product visions and roadmaps
  • Lead SCRUM/KANBAN meetings, including daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos
  • Work very customer-focused: conduct user and competitor research, take part in design sprints, put the customer first in your day-to-day work
  • Continuously improve development processes and methodologies and ensure synergies, templates, and best practices across projects by sharing knowledge and properly documenting
  • Support and guide our Junior Product Owners

In addition, if you qualify as Lead Product Owner, you have the unique opportunity to coach, guide, develop and motivate a team of 3-5 Junior to Senior Product Owners as well as hire new team members when required.


  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Business Sciences, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years proven work experience in product management
  • Previous work experience in a startup
  • Technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies
  • Fluency in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams and managing different stakeholders’ expectations
  • Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
  • Highly structured, thorough working style and getting-things-done attitude
  • The ability to keep calm in turbulent, time-critical situations and manage multiple projects
  • Passion for building products that customers love
