About the Position
Help us build the future of fundraising. As product manager, you own discovery for what needs to be done to exceed our clients’ fundraising goals and experience. We’re looking for a true team player, someone adept at managing relationships, collaborating and influencing across organizational functions without authority. You will drive the product’s business impact, collaborate closely with Product Development, Design, QA, and Client Services to build new products and increase the profitability of existing products. In addition, you will help develop new ideas based on research.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver product strategy and roadmap through data-driven (quantitative and qualitative) research and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
- Deliver use cases, stories, and epics to product development, design, & QA
- Contributes to research strategy & execution
- Release product on time and on budget within quality standards set by you and the leadership team
- Meet adoption, sales and profitability KPIs set by you and the leadership team
- Drive and/or provide input into build/buy/partner decisions
- Deliver meaningful competitive and market analysis
- Share product success and health, including detailed progress and risk assessments to stakeholders and leadership that will inform decisions
Qualifications:
- 3+ years at a software company with a familiarity of design and development workflows
- 2+ years of experience in product management
- Ability to deeply understand customer needs
- Ability to understand the full client lifecycle
- Proactive, detail-oriented approach to work – see initiatives through from start to finish, helping the team accomplish goals however necessary
- Growth mindset and be able to build, measure, and learn
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle changing needs elegantly, and get things done with limited resources
- Ability to inspire the team to build better products with a constant dedication to understand, question and improve the experiences for our users
- Ability to communicate directly and clearly, influence outcomes, and place a strong emphasis on listening and understanding
- Strong prioritization skills based on analytical reasoning
- Strong verbal and written storytelling skills to help others understand the value of our work
