Railsbank is the world’s leading global open banking platform that gives customers “access to global financial services” with 5 lines of code.
The company was founded by serial finTech entrepreneurs who previously founded successful and award-winning companies like Evolution and Currency Cloud.
Since starting in 2016 in London the company has expanded across Europe, launched in Singapore and is currently extending capabilities in SE Asia, USA and Australia.
The success of Railsbank has been purely down to the high-performance team who have an unwavering believe in a set of core values that unite us. Through building a team on core values means that we are also a diverse and inclusive team. For example, Railsbank are the only FinTech in the world with a 50:50 male:female employee ratio.
The team’s performance has been recognised through both customer successes and Railsbank winning many awards including being in the FinTech50 (Europe’s top 50 FinTech companies) for two years in a row.
We are now scaling the company across Europe and SE Asia and looking for exceptional people who share the same core values to join team Railsbank.
We believe in autonomous teams, so you should expect to own the design of products and internal processes, constantly collaborate within your cross-functional team and communicate your goals and progress to the rest of the company.
This position includes the following responsibilities:
Build an understanding of our users’ needs and champion them in all of the company’s products and services.
Gather input on existing user flows and processes, outline these visually and propose improvements to enhance the customer or internal user experience
Design new user interactions and processes from scratch in collaboration with other internal stakeholders
Work within a multi-disciplinary team to design and deliver user-interface designs and journeys across our digital platforms
Rapidly produce multiple concepts and prototypes; knowing when to apply pixel-perfect attention to detail, and when to make low-fi sketches and prototypes.
Create concepts, wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, site maps and prototypes to effectively communicate interaction ideas.
Execute visual stages from concept to final product and coordinate build with the Development Team.
Work closely with a wide range of people from across the business to understand and interpret requirements, identify opportunities, and communicate design strategy and rationale.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, competitor research and user analysis to support your design decisions and recommendations.
