PM Engagement Lead

We’re a diverse team of highly mobile, technically adept event organizers and training providers. We’re looking for a strategic and growth-oriented PM who will be responsible for advising our corporate clients and collaborating with our Director of Training on how we can continuously improve and expand our corporate offerings.

We’re now going through an amazing period of growth, with the training team growing 3-fold from 2 to 6 people, and our client base reaching global clients, such as AmEx, Burberry, New York Times, and Spotify, to name a few. This role will be crucial to us scaling our ability to service all incoming leads, spot new opportunities and constantly ensure that our program is the gold standard for the industry.

Overview

Mind the Product is looking for a seasoned Product Manager to run new client engagement and consulting on curriculum development for Mind the Product’s corporate training clients. Reporting into the Director of Training, this role will be focused on ensuring that our corporate clients get a full view of the ways in which we can support their learning and progression towards great product practice. Our role is to offer advice on what would work best for them and steer them towards what we believe works best. In addition, this role will strategize with the Director of Training on new models, new delivery mechanisms, and opportunities for optimization. This role has the ability to shape and evolve the program moving forward.

Details

  • Conduct assessment calls with clients to understand their team’s goals and challenges
  • Understand MTP’s curriculum in-depth and be able to craft customized curricula’s to meet a client’s needs
  • Work with Director of Training to spot friction, opportunities and brainstorm solutions
  • Empowered to co-create new services, offerings and models that could benefit clients
  • Have the opportunity to teach clients as and when time and schedules’ allow – £500/day bonus for these sessions (max two days a month)
  • Work with our amazing trainer PMs the world over to prepare them to deliver the training
  • Support operations in ensuring smooth delivery and working to help unblock things that stand in the way of that delivery
  • Re-engage previous clients for feedback, new discovery, future trainings
  • Extensive involvement in new customer research and discovery

What you’ll get

Where we’re at

You need to be able to get to team day once a week in London, and travel to venues / meetings as needed (mostly in London). The rest of the time, we work from home or co-working spaces and we’ll help set you up for the same (Slack, Google, Dropbox etc). There will be an element of international travel as part of this role (evangelising at conferences, delivering to a subset of clients, etc). We’ve a strong international background on the team itself, champion the cause of diversity in tech and look after our people like family.
