The  Senior Product Manager, based in Oxford, is responsible for defining and executing his own product roadmap and driving key initiatives within the Payments Team (Supplier payout, Consumer payments, Trust and Safety and Financial reporting) for the TripAdvisor Experiences Business Unit. The Sr PM collaborates with Stakeholders, Analysts, Data Scientists, Interaction Designers and Engineers to evolve the platform’s feature set and ensures on-time quality deliverables. To be a successful candidate, you will be passionate about data and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We aim to release products often with constant iteration and reliance on quantitative and qualitative metrics to help define further optimizations and enhancements. You are skilled at translating business needs into product plans that incorporate appropriate internal and external research. Your communication skills allow you to excel at collaborating in a Global team environment, working in several time zones. You’ll get experience of building strategic partnerships with other key stakeholders (finance, sales, trust and safety, brand, supplier support and other product functions) to capture business requirements, plan product features and evaluate product performance along key KPIs.

What You’ll Do:

Payments is a core and strategic area at Tripadvisor. Simply put, you’ll be responsible for creating and delivering the best scaled and efficient ecosystem for managing Tripadvisor’s payout experience and account security.

This is a pivotal role working across the organisation, from identifying business requirements through to interactions with an Agile technical team to achieve product delivery. You’ll be motivated by a fast paced & Agile environment and excel at managing multiple projects simultaneously to test and execute immediate change.

In doing so you might be responsible for managing junior resources focusing on their career progression.

Responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:

Shape and deliver the Product vision for supplier pay-outs and account security
Define long term vision for the platforms used as well as tactical initiatives required for urgent needs
Own and develop business cases, including evaluation and recommendation of options
Create strategies to influence and manage customer behavior to drive key business targets
Present key recommendations and results to senior leadership and across the organization
Understand the needs of internal stakeholders and create valuable relationships
Project manage the delivery & implementation of your products, managing your assigned dev resources and tracking the effectiveness and success of the final deliverables
Guide and mentor junior resources (with people management opportunities)
What We Need from You:

Passion for on-line ecommerce and digital technology, along with a hunger to develop disruptive experiences in this area
Experience of working in a product related role with focus on payments is required while e-commerce experience constitutes a plus
Proven ability to create, analyze and communicate analytics and performance metrics
The ability to engage and confidently advise senior leaders and internal stakeholders is essential
Experience of working with Technology teams to develop product, providing clear product direction, background and user stories.
Proven history of understanding and driving improvements across all elements of the User Experience (Functionality, Design, Content and Usability)
Operating in a fast pace development environment and dealing with multiple releases monthly
Must be great team player that works well in collaborative situations, with a global team, across multiple time zones
Be prepared to occasionally work out of usual business hours when required to teleconference with overseas teams, as necessary
Regular travel (once a quarter)
Prior experience with Agile methodology
Familiarity with travel industry and marketplace concepts, practices and procedures
