What the job involves
This is an exciting new role with an opportunity to really make your mark. You’ll be sharing your expertise in Agile and coaching a range of people and projects in the best way to adopt that way of working. We are currently running a few pilot projects using Agile and you will play a key role in helping other projects realise the benefits of the different elements of the toolkit. Sometimes that will involve training whole groups of people in the basics or working with specific teams to get them started and following up, to working one-to-one with product owners or scrum masters to develop their skills and understanding further. You’ll also be the lead on how we use Agile as an organisation, setting the framework and guidance for making the most of a new mindset.
What we want from you
A good, practical understanding of Agile with a pragmatic approach to implementing it across a range of different, non-technical projects. We’re not all going to be scrum masters overnight but if you can help us understand the mindset and which ceremonies and tools are most suited for different situations then we can all benefit from working in this way. You’re passionate about helping people to realise a change to the way they work and can help them see the end goal, even when it feels like it’s getting further away. You are comfortable giving talks and training to large groups and building up one-to-one coaching relationships across a diverse skillset. You are tenacious and know how to negotiate with people to make them make time for learning and can sell the benefits of Agile to persuade them to do so.
