About the role

To support our mission, and to drive new business growth, we are looking to recruit an additional Product Manager within our Quality, Compliance and Products directorate.

You will be expected to maximise the impact, income and surplus from Products and Services for defined areas of the company Product Portfolio and Membership Offer. You will also manage the lifecycle and all aspects of products within the company, from launch through to withdrawal.

Working closely with all business functions, you will establish yourself as the trusted ‘go to’ internal expert on the designated products, their markets, customers, commercial dynamics and performance.

About you

To be successful in this role you will have experience in product management, R&D, lifecycle management and budget control. This will include experience in the production of business cases specifying market and product requirements for current and future products.

Proven leadership and management experience of leading and coordinating project teams is also required; ideally involving the commissioning of work using consultants and managing stakeholder consultations and relationships.

You will be expected to draw from a broad repertoire of skills, including: strategic product analysis, project management and financial planning. Ideally you will also have a background in qualification development and/or experience of working within a membership body.

It’s important that you demonstrate professional gravitas and highly developed interpersonal skills – we’ll be looking to you to develop collaborative working relationships with colleagues and multiple stakeholders.

Most of the team are home-based, travelling to the London or Lichfield offices fairly regularly for meetings. You will need to be comfortable working independently and undertaking fairly regular travel.
