We strongly believe that on top of the humans we match them with, great products will make or break the delegation experience for our users. All 3 co-founders have product backgrounds and our team is highly focused on building the best user experience possible. We’re now looking for someone to help us provide this great user experience on a more consistent basis.
What you will do
- Develop a deep understanding of the product and company vision
- Help build and prioritize the product roadmap with the CXO / CEO
- Write feature requirements (user stories) and help scope features
- Evaluate the feasibility and timing of features with the engineering and design teams
- Be responsible for deadlines and organize work for all 5 apps, handling estimates, blockers and dependencies for 3 dev teams: mobile, web, platform
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog
- Own recurring meetings: kick-offs, product planning, release preps, and retrospectives
- Run beta program (for user research and iteration before shipping to production)
- Talk to customers (execs, doubles) regularly in partnership with customer success and CXO to collect and organize feedback on what we ship
- Test features in development (with help from the CXO) and report bugs and product issues
- Review and improve all product processes to work more efficiently as a team
Based on profile, the role can also expand to:
Product Marketing
- Own and improve release process (e.g. what’s new communication, release notes, etc.)
- Plan and carry out product launches (in partnership with customer success and CXO / CEO)
Data + Insights
- Provide insight to stakeholders on the product and market
- Follow up on features (data + feedback) and prioritize iterations
- Organize user research in partnership with CXO and customer success when needed
- Lead discussions on which metrics to track and how to track them
- Monitor, report and improve the performance of the product
Who you are
- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- You have 2+ years experience as a product owner or product manager
- You are analytical, organized, and a strong problem solver. You are able to synthesize information very well
- You are able to work independently as well as work in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment
- You are excited about being the 1st product manager on the team and researching and implementing new processes
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Technical experience is a bonus, though deep curiosity about the underlying technology behind projects is mandatory
