Housing Partners are a forward thinking technology solutions provider to the social housing sector. We are a small company with big ambitions and a whole backlog of great product ideas designed to make a big difference within the sector. Think commercial solving a social issue and you’ve got Housing Partners.
We are currently looking for a Product Owner to be responsible for the delivery of an exciting new Property Marketing product designed to help social landlords attract the right people into their homes whilst streamlining the processes they need to undertake to get them there.
Delivering great products which drive the self-service of applicants, increase efficiencies and introduce modern channel marketing practices are key to what we are trying to achieve.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the introduction and growth of this product channel, will drive engagement and generate commercial opportunities.
We operate in small teams, using agile methodologies, and you are expected to provide both insight – the “why” – and deliverables – the “what”. The role combines product management duties such as researching and understanding market conditions/trends, capturing customer and stakeholder requirements, identifying and engaging in third party relationships with, for example, commercial property marketing solutions; defining product scope, explaining rationale, building business cases, creating product backlog items and wireframes, managing delivery, testing, monitoring performance and performing retrospectives, with support for our customers as well as our sales activities.
You may have experience in property marketing or perhaps you are a brilliant all-rounder with a passion to make a difference. The successful candidate should have experience working within an agile environment on a successful product. You should have proven experience writing epics, user stories and clear acceptance criteria; commercial leadership skills, excellent knowledge of web and mobile products and technologies and a flair for creative thinking. You should be able to wireframe and iterate your thinking and be used to working at speed within a small team.
In return we can offer a modern, fun and friendly working environment with plenty of opportunities to hone your skills, be creative and even partake in some daily mindfulness practice!
