Product Manager (Card Processing)

Salary £40,000 to £50,000 depending upon experience. You’ll get 30 days holiday per year. (Inclusive of bank holidays) Health cash plan & Pension.

Joining our product management department based in London, you will be responsible for developing and delivering product strategy and roadmap based on a comprehensive understanding of the market, our customer’s needs and the overall XLN business strategy.

Working for the Product Director, you will be the expert for the XLN card processing product range and undertake all relevant market and competitor research to ensure you are at the forefront of industry changes. You will work closely with our CPS suppliers to maximise value and customer experience and also alongside the CPS Operations Manager to optimise CPS processes to reduce ‘lead to transacting’ timelines and provide great ‘in life customer’ experience.

Working with the Product Director and members of the wider XLN team, you will develop, articulate and gain approval for the XLN CPS product strategy ensuring business and brand strategy fit and evolve as customer and business requirements change. You will develop, gain approval for and regularly update a 12 month rolling CPS product roadmap, prioritising product enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and financial performance and socialise with key internal and external stakeholders.

You will lead cross-functional project teams to deliver all new product initiatives to time, cost and quality following agreed Product Management and Project Office processes, including development and testing, management of delivery from external suppliers, end to end processes and support plans

Working with key stakeholders to develop, agree and implement launch plans for all new CPS product initiatives including marketing, sales, support, training and communication plans. You will monitor product and performance vs the business case post launch, identify issues and recommend remedial actions as required.

Together with the CPS Operations Manager, you will work with internal stakeholders, suppliers and customers to identify and implement product and process enhancements to drive continuous improvement and ‘best in class’ customer experience. You will monitor the key financial metrics produced by the Finance and Pricing teams, identify opportunities and issues and work with key stakeholders to develop and implement plans to address

You will act as the ‘product champion’ internally, providing Product Briefings, Features & Benefits analysis, USPs, competitor analysis and ensuring all external product communications are accurate.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of key CPS suppliers to ensure ‘fit for purpose’ products, best in class customer experience and excellent pricing.
