Job Purpose

Ocado is looking for a passionate Product Manager to improve how thousands of our customers go about their weekly shop.

It’s a role that combines data, logic and creativity to improve the customer experience and develop commercially-savvy innovations on Ocado.com and the mobile apps. You will bridge business, creative and technical teams as you work to identify, spec, test and evaluate fantastic, and fantastically simple, product improvements.

You will be able to see the bigger picture whether that be priorities for the business, or the overall customer journey for a particular product. You will also be all over the detail to launch superior new products & drive on-going improvements.

Your successes will be implemented across our website, mobile apps and mobile site to make shopping at Ocado even easier for hundreds of thousands of customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Break down complex problems into achievable steps for product development
Build quick business cases for new ideas
Develop and own a testing plan, working with user experience and development teams to get new tests live
Gather requirements and spec out projects, adapting as you discover new insights
Ensure all projects are built to customer friendly and commercially savvy spec and launch as planned
Continual testing of ideas and improvements with customers to enable prioritisation of development and improvement
Constantly analysing data to identify outcomes and improvements
Be responsible for every step of the user journey for specific product launches
Work across the business to ensure that time-smart solutions can be found
Prioritise and maximise business value from product developments by focussing on conversion and loyalty

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Proven experience in online or e-commerce
Product management, web development or consultancy background preferred
Retail or Consumer Goods experience preferred
A/B or multivariate testing and Google Analytics experience preferred
Advanced Excel skills
Top tier university
