Product Manager

The Product Manager will be responsible for product development, evangelisation, training, and maintenance of one of Captify’s products. The right candidate will be responsible for helping with requirements gathering/documentation, tracking and prioritisation of requests across the business. As the product owner, the Product Manager will work closely with the engineering lead to develop and maintain the product. This role reports to the Senior Product Manager and requires an individual with superior attention-to-detail, solid communication skills and who is passionate about delivering high standards to clients in the advertising technology industry.

What you will be doing…

  • Define, maintain and communicate the product roadmap
    Work closely with the business to define product requirements and prioritise new features and functionality
  • Work closely with the engineering team to prioritise and deliver these features and functionality
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing prior to product releases
    Conduct defect investigation, documentation, prioritisation and coordination
  • Be the recognised expert in the business for the product
    Contribute to product prioritisation and product strategy and the internal communication of those priorities and strategy
  • Contribute to release notes, product guides, and marketing collateral for each product release
  • Create and maintain product documentation
  • Assist the wider commercial teams in relation to the product, including product demonstrations and training

 

What you will need to have…

  • 1-3 years of experience within product management or a related field
  • At least 1 year of experience within the online advertising industry
  • High attention to detail, with an ability to test and verify functionality and fixes to defects
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently
  • Creative and able to think strategically
  • Ability to prioritise requests to the benefit of Captify and our clients
  • Ability to work autonomously while still functioning in a team environment
  • Experience in Jira or other product management systems would be preferable
