Lead Product Manager

Pop Science are looking for a smart, driven senior product manager to help drive a clinical trial site payments solution and help capture majority share of a large market opportunity. This role will interface with industry experts, analysts, engineers, operations, and user experience designers to solve large, exciting challenges in the clinical trial payments space. The ultimate measure of success will be creation of innovative solutions that will be eagerly purchased and easily adopted by pharma companies and clinical research organisations of all sizes.

Salary – up to £70K, 10% bonus, stock purchase plan and other excellent benefits

Responsibilities:
Lead the Payments product lifecycle from product planning and definition through commercial launch
Lead internal and external efforts to understand the clinical trial site payments market and customer business problems via focus groups, customer interviews, and other forums
Develop, validate, and continually iterate product strategy, vision, roadmap, business requirements, priorities and releases
Work with business analysts to define functionality
Drive product direction alignment with internal and external stakeholders, including sales, marketing, professional services, and the rest of the Product team
Support internal and external customers to ensure successful launch of each release
Partner with sales and marketing to define the product positioning and business value
Present roadmap to clients, manage client expectations, and address key pains to help sell to new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones
Regularly update Executive Team and manage expectations on a high visibility initiative
Be the go-to subject matter expert for clinical trial payments

Skills and Qualifications:
Significant experience in Product Management or similar role
Experience managing complex enterprise solutions for large clients
Accounting, payments, financial, ERP, or clinical trial experience preferred
Passion for creating customer value through innovative technology solutions
Results-driven, data-driven, entrepreneurial, and action-oriented
Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Superior analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking abilities
Strong people skills to lead collaboration across functions and organisations
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, accounting, information systems, or other relevant area
