About the role

hiber is looking for a brilliant Product Owner to take on one or more of our suite of internal and external technology products. The Product Owner will be responsible for shaping, steering and delivering the product vision, and managing the product development process. As part of hiber’s product team, you’ll be taking on a wide range of requirements from users and stakeholders, as well as generating your own ideas from a combination of analytical data and qualitative feedback. You’ll be working with a high-quality remote development team (based in Poland) and will support them in defining the execution of features and tasks. You should be able to lead the team towards achieving hiber’s vision and strategy, delivering the maximum value to drive our ambitious growth, and to make our products the best they can be.

You’ll be highly organised, with the ability to see through development of features from start to finish, and to deliver them in time with our users’ needs. You’ll also be a problem-solver, willing to get stuck into any problem and identify multiple ways of solving them. And you’ll be a good communicator, able to present your solutions and approach to business and technology team members alike.

The role reports to hiber’s Chief Technology Officer, and will benefit from day to day coaching from our Product Manager.

The team conducts several onsite visits to Poland throughout the year, which you will be invited to join.

Experience

  • Previous experience working as a software  Product Owner, or in a role with product responsibilities
  • Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, and how to work with an Agile team
