We need an experienced, high impact Head of Product to develop the consumer proposition and product strategy for Twig’s award-winning educational platform. The Head of Product will play a key role in leading our move into B2C by delivering outstanding products for personalised, child-focussed out of school learning.
You will be at the heart of driving business growth, managing a small and growing Product Development team and working with a range of creative talent across the business. You will oversee the life cycle through production through to final delivery and beyond, ensuring that the product consistently exceeds the expectations of users and the business.
You will have a strong commercial outlook and understand how to build a user-focussed, data driven culture across the company. You will use data to quickly identify opportunities and solutions and you will act decisively to communicate these in a way that engages and motivates teams.
Your responsibilities:
Own and lead the product strategy and proposition as well as the roadmap for all new products
Think laterally to create a high performing consumer product that meets user needs and increases user engagement thereby driving revenues
Provide leadership to drive change, implementing best practice, agile processes and methodologies to develop the product culture
Analyse, prioritise and translate customer needs into succinct business cases and ideas for product development
Be data driven – improve the company’s mining of user data to provide strong commercial insight to inform decision making
Obsess over the quality and performance of the digital offering, always driving to improve business metrics whilst delivering a simple, engaging product through a beautiful web and mobile user experience
Test ideas and develop a superb UX, whilst continually reporting on performance and
identifying areas for improvement
Work closely with senior management and build strong, collaborative relationships with
production, technology, commercial, external partners etc.
What you need to apply for Head of Product:
A proven track record of delivering significant success, scaling and developing high
performing consumer facing digital products that impact business
Commercial thinking with creative vision; the ability to influence how customers interact
online
Highly analytical mindset with a sharp focus on commercial metrics, making data-driven, insightful decisions to drive the business forward
A broad skill-set including A/B testing; prototyping; user testing; analytics; UX and UI; market
research; competitor analysis; defining metrics
Sound understanding of relevant technologies and the ability to interface with technologists to explain and explore product concepts
Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills at all levels; ability to present complex information in simple terms.
