Purpose of the role
Within the Product Marketing department, your main responsibility is to drive value offering and go-to-market strategy for our payment checkout and technology offering segments. Your objective is to maximize the success of your offering on the market.
For this, you’ll develop a sound knowledge of your markets with a special attention to high growth start-ups You’ll be the expert of customers explicit and implicit needs when it comes to integration capabilities, checkout and technology overall. You’ll drive the value proposition exercise for your segments and define market-driven positioning and messaging for the offering. You work very closely with product intelligence, marketing, enablement, pricing, product management and the sales forces.
In your function, your responsibilities will include:
Value Proposition
Market understanding:
Segment, size and analyze your market segments
Conduct competitive & value chain analysis
Value offering strategy:
Identify product-market fit & product-market gaps
Design business case for strategic product & services initiative
Develop market requirements documents
Deliver offering portfolio recommendation
Value Stories: Define positioning & messaging
Go-to-market / Growth hacking
Go-to-market planning & strategy:
Identify & plan key go-to-market campaigns for the success of your offering
Drive product launches
Go-to-market implementation:
Define campaigns target audience, messaging, target, high level mechanism, etc.
Align with marketing on campaign tactics & follow up execution
Promote offering & campaigns towards sales forces globally
Participate and present at sectorial events
Meet with customers & sales teams for feedback sessions
Define with Enablement team the sales tools that need to be developed to support the selling process of your offering
Help sales pitch clients on large opportunities
Perform product demonstrations to key customers
Role requirements
3+ years’ experience in Product Marketing, Technical marketing, Product management, Marketing Management, inSaaS, e-commerce, digital or card-not-present payments industry
Experience in start-up environment or FinTech industry
Proven track record in designing and developing compelling marketing offers
Good understanding of technology environment (APIs, SDKs, Open Source platforms, etc)
Demonstrated success launching products
Experience in a complex sales environment or service related business is a must
Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Experience in Project leadership is desirable
Fluency in English, written and spoken command of other languages are a plus
Willing and able to travel internationally
