Product Manager, Advertising

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager with a speciality in advertising technology. The Product Manager, Advertising will lead advertising-related product development efforts, drive ad tech R&D and ad-related strategic initiatives, as well as own integration activities with MLBAM’s advertising technology partners.

• Assume product leadership for advertising-related product functionality and the end to end partner integration cycle
• Identify business problems and their solution, as well as strategic and revenue generating opportunities
• Analyze existing business, operational, and engineering processes to implement and • improve systems to support advertising requirements
• Provide expert guidance on the advertising technology industry, its vendors, and emerging ad tech trends
• Work with advertising operations, ad sales, and engineering teams to analyze various stakeholder and business goals, current capabilities and procedures
• Become a trusted source of information and insight for advertising on mobile, desktop, connected devices and smart TVs
• Maintain and grow expertise in industry standards, technologies, partner and competitor companies strategies
• Define desired product functionality and work with development and QA teams to ensure successful delivery
• Assist with technical feasibility, implementation approach, deployment strategies, and QA efforts
• Work with project stakeholders to define project scope and objectives, communicating requirements to engineering teams
• Assist in estimation and management of project budgets and cross-project resource allocation

Required Qualifications:
• Successful history of product management and software delivery, ideally covering applications for web, mobile devices, and OTT video devices such as AppleTV, Roku, FireTV
• Experience with IP-based video delivery, including DAI
• Strong knowledge of advertising technology vendors and ecosystems
• Strong knowledge and experience with current ad tech, including RTB platforms, DSPs and DMPs
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills with a collaborative attitude
• Ability to make quick decisions to solve complex technical and operational challenges
• Managing resource, technical, and budgetary constraints while ensuring on-time and on-budget project delivery
• Effectively lead teams and inspire others to achieve goals through innovation, quality and excellence

• Bachelors degree required, MBA or technical degree preferred
