Sr. Product Manager – Technical Integrations & Partnerships

The Sr. Product Manager for Technical Integrations and Partnerships role is critical to realizing Edmentum’s strategy and will have high visibility throughout the organization. The role requires a wide variety of skills including strategic thinking on partnerships and strategy and hands-on work directly with our fastest growing product lines. This role will manage integrations and partnerships that are applicable across our entire portfolio and individual Edmentum products as assigned.This position can be located at either our MN or TX office.

Here is what you’ll do:
Collaborate with Group Product Managers, Product Managers and cross-functional leadership in the development of external partnerships and integration strategies for meeting company objectives.
Develop and implement integration strategies for Edmentum solutions by partnering closely with our software and curriculum teams.
Develop close working and productive relationships with our external partners.
Develop in depth understanding and expertise of the Edmentum product portfolio with extra emphasis on assigned products.
Ability to understand and develop a strategy for technical integrations including Single Sign On (SSO) and Application Program Interface (API) solutions.
Build business cases, negotiates contracts, oversee cross-functional implementations, and provide ongoing management of integrations and assigned products. Develop and maintain a strategic multi-year roadmap for partnerships and integrations.
Maintain a deep understanding of the technology and education markets as it relates to integration of external technology, data and/or content with Edmentum applications.
Maintain and manage sound working relationships between Edmentum and external partners.
Understand and communicate contractual rights and responsibilities to internal stakeholders, as needed, to ensure correct operations.
Ensure external partners support integrations and/or products as required.
Work cooperatively with Development leaders and Product Managers to plan, develop and implement integrations with external partners. Manage Request/Defect Backlog for integration efforts.
Add new integration feature requests to the backlog
Solicit organizational feedback on backlog items to sort and prioritize the backlog
Work with marketing to define concise and dominant market positioning and messaging related to integrations and assigned products.
Define and provide key training resource information to Readiness, Customer Support and other stakeholders as needed.

Here is what you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in business, education, technology or an equivalent field required; Master’s preferred.
Experience in SaaS education technology products highly desirable.
7+ years experience in product management or equivalent in the fields of education or technology.
3+ years of experience in leading teams in a highly matrixed, highly cross-functional organization.
3+ years of experience interacting with customers, strategic partners, and cross-functional groups to understand market and business needs
Inspirational, motivational, and results-based leadership skills
Superior and regularly demonstrated diplomacy skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage complex, cross-functional relationships in a work environment
Ability to negotiate with internal customers and external strategic partners
Ability to research key market trends and make strong product strategy recommendations based on quantitative and qualitative analysis
