Mission of the Role:

Serving as the key partner to the CEO to co-own the product roadmap and the “why” of Algo’s products (i.e., the strategic approach to what is being built and maintained). This role will be instrumental to delivering must-have best-in-class products and innovative technology to revolutionize sales & operations planning and supply chain. This role will be responsible for end-to-end product innovation processes from ideation through product/feature launch. Developing a deep understanding of the needs of the customer and the market and drive requirements into the global product strategy, vision and road map will be critical to the success of this role. The role will also be accountable for supporting growing revenue, increasing operational efficiency, defining road maps and executing implementation plans to get the right service, to the right customer, at the right price, time, quality, cost and complexity.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

  • Create, define and articulate compelling product vision & strategy for Algo capabilities and modules
  • Analyze needs of end users to build the product vision and strategy for the platform
  • Identify target segments and markets, play a leading role in evaluating market trends, product industry, and competitor capabilities
  • Build and maintain a roadmap that is aligned with the vision and strategy
  • Adhere to product management methodology for roadmap definition, documentation, communication, and governance
  • Own the end to end commercial success of the product or category – including development of go-to-market strategy and delivering targeted revenues in collaboration with sales
  • Define, articulate and manage product requirements through the team
  • Ensuring effective partnership and communication with all stakeholders in particular technology/engineering, sales, marketing, customer success, and finance
  • Lead product governance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Be accountable for the delivery of the product from requirement to usage and in-life management
  • Create, maintain and communicate product roadmaps; perform and document change management in lock step with process
  • Adopt rigor in all activity including use of tools, processes and methodologies
  • Balance competitive advantage, customer need and pure innovation

Ideal Profile:

  • 5+ years experience in SaaS enterprise B2B product management, including leading and mentoring product managers
  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of product managers, including recruiting, hiring, and training product managers
  • Deep knowledge in AI, ML, data analytics and conversational interfaces
  • Combine discipline, entrepreneurship, collaboration and deep knowledge of the product and market
  • A unique blend of business and technical savvy with a focus on delivering amazing customer experiences
  • Ability to build big-picture vision, and the operational drive to make that vision a reality
  • Experience in UI/UX testing and validation
  • Work with sales and marketing to define pricing and competitive positioning for each product
  • Ability to balance must-have requirements with timelines to prioritize and define product roadmap and timelines
  • Product lifecycle management from concept to launch of the product(s) across all products/product lines
  • Prior experience in design thinking – ability to do iterative designing and prototyping with customer input
  • Develop budgets, forecasts, and metrics
  • Experience in iterative, agile software delivery, short release cycles and iterative delivery of a commercially available product
