What you’ll do
You will join our senior management team reporting into our Chief Business Officer, and in that capacity, will serve as the most senior product voice at the company. You will have a seat at the table in strategic decision-making and will be responsible for creating alignment across the organization while keeping the business vision and mission front and center.
As the consumer product leader, you will set the vision and strategy for the consumer product experience, establish the roadmap, execute against that roadmap, and take a customer- and data-centric approach to rapid iteration and step-factor innovation. Additionally, you will set product standards and governance across the entire company, and build, empower, and mentor a world-class team of product managers, designers, and analysts.
As member of the leadership team, translate company vision into a robust product strategy and product roadmap for the consumer tech stack and applications, and execute against it.
Champion a product experience across all consumer touchpoints that is engaging, inspiring, consistent, and helpful to customers. Use data and insights to advocate for the customer with authority and confidence
Translate complex ideas into user-friendly designs.
Establish a customer- and data-centric product ethos that informs strategy and decision-making
Lead, coach, and develop a team of product, design, and analytics professionals to create a product culture focused on delighting the consumer.
Establish company-level product governance practices, combining creativity with flawless execution.
As member of leadership team, partner cross-functionally to solve strategic and operational challenges in consideration of market forces and competition.
Partner with engineering to create a highly effective, agile product development process.
Minimum of 10+ years of product management experience ideally at a mobile-first company with a digital + physical product mix.
Ability to continually evolve the product roadmap and strategy to meet both short- and long-term goals such as scalability, user engagement, and monetization. A do-er and a leader, exhibiting a “no-job-too-small” approach throughout your senior career
Data-oriented with strong business acumen and experience establishing and surpassing business-critical KPIs; experience using data and insights to inform product opportunities which create enhanced customer experience and connect with business goals.
Proven experience operating and thriving in fast-paced, high-growth, constantly-changing startup environments. Needs to be comfortable in a hands-on environment.
Successful examples of building and scaling consumer-facing products and the supporting back-end technologies that enable them.
Track record building, motivating, and leading a consumer-centric product and design team of 10+; proven development and leadership of high performance, customer-obsessed product and UX organization
Ability to continually evolve the product roadmap and strategy to meet both short- and long-term goals such as scalability, user engagement, and monetization.
Experience and deep understanding in utilizing data, search, and UI to build complex ecosystems and communities.
Solid technical background. Experience leading product teams that partner cross-functionally.
