Product Manager
Rain or Shine Golf is seeking a hardworking and passionate Product Manager. This Product Manager will lead an outsourced software development partner that is charged with developing the next breakthrough technology in the indoor golf simulator software space.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or MBA, or equivalent in experience
3-5 years of technical product management experience such as creating strategic product roadmaps and working with cross-functional teams
Experience driving product vision, go-to-market strategy, and technical design discussions in the software space
Thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup environment
Strong project management experience managing and motivating an outsourced software development vendor
Golf industry experience a plus
Basic programming skills
Responsibilities
Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth
Develop requirements, drive prioritization of features and tradeoffs, write feature specifications, work with outsourced engineering team and develop and continually manage a well-groomed requirements process
Define and deliver a product vision and strategy as Rain or Shine Golf builds upon current business and supports software revenue growth
Launch new products and features, test their performance, and iterate quickly
Work with outsourced engineering team to deliver a scalable architecture that not just meets current needs, but considers future growth scenarios
Strong analytical and quantitative skills with ability to use data and metrics for making assumptions and decisions
Anticipate and help resolve resource gaps, obstacles and timing issues
Use financial acumen and key business metrics to build business cases that inform investments, prioritize defined project initiatives, and determine successful deployment and adoption of features
