AyrLabs is a fully funded hardware start up. We are looking for a Product Owner/ Project Manager to manage the ongoing development and delivery of our app and website, along with other software projects. This a contract based role starting immediately but with potential to extend for the long term. The candidate must be an independent thinker and love problem solving. This is a great period to join the company as we are currently pre-launch and expect to expand our teams rapidly.
Responsibilities:
- Own user story backlogs for multiple linked software projects on multiple platforms (embedded, mobile and web)
- Author and prioritise user stories based on input from all stake holders including developers, architects, sales and marketing functions
- Organise and host regular sprint planning meetings where progress, planning and priorities are agreed
- Author supporting documentation including technical requirements, test documentation and product descriptions
- Track and report progress of software projects
- Manage distributed overseas development resources
- Manage distributed Ux and design resources
What you’ll need:
- 3+ years’ experience as a product owner or business analyst for complex linked software projects on multiple platforms
- Agile product development experience
- Experience of working in a dynamic start-up environment
- Exceptional communication and organisation skills
- Ability to work with remote teams, across time zones to create a cohesive and creative work flow
- Experience of working with cross disciplinary team including mobile applications, web and user experience design, graphics, layout and transitions
- Strong technical knowledge, project management and business analysis skills
- Excel, Youtrack, Gantt Chart, Confluence and general IT skills
