About the opportunity:

We are looking for a Director of Product Management who is passionate about product development and is driven to deliver innovative products and solutions that will serve the needs of our customers. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Product Development – Business Technology, this role is responsible leading all aspects, from strategy through design and execution, of a portfolio of products for the AIR MILES Reward Program. You must possess the ability to see the bigger picture and understand the role technology plays in driving customer engagement and delivering impactful business value. You have the proven ability to lead teams and work cross functionality across organizations to deliver innovative and impactful products and capabilities.

What you will do:
• Lead a team of Product Owners. Drive new product innovation to ensure the AIR MILES Reward Program continues to deliver world-class B2B and B2C solutions to solve our customers needs
• Work with senior executives to translate business vision into actionable strategies that will deliver ongoing and long term product and capability innovation
• Gain an in-depth understand of our client and key stakeholder needs and identify and assess opportunities for new and modified products to meet those needs
• Create, maintain and articulate a robust product portfolio strategy/roadmap and champion it and foster followership across internal and external customers
• Research and analyze market intelligence, technology trends and the competitive marketplace to develop, drive and deliver product innovation
• Be the company’s product expert in the spaces we operate in – Loyalty, Digital Marketing, Retail, e-Comm, Big Data, or Fintech
• Build and foster collaborative relationships across a network of internal and external clients
• Lead and manage the team to grow and evolve our product management community of practice
• Provide leadership and coaching to a team of direct reports in their personal growth and development
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement
• Determine and monitor appropriate measures of success to systematically track and measure impact of new products.

You would describe yourself as having:
• Post-secondary Degree in Business, Engineering or Marketing Technology
• Proven track record as an effective coach and leader who enables and inspires their team to do great work
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Product development or Digital Transformation in a large complex B2B or B2C organization
• Demonstrated business acumen with experience harnessing the power of technology to solve complex problems and develop innovative products and solutions
• You must have a solid background in IOT products and technologies with in-depth understanding of emerging digital product trends, tools and practices
• You have experience in customer led, user-centered design
• You are an innovative problem solver able to balance strategic, analytic and creative thinking to solve complex problems creative problem solving skills
• You possess excellent communication skills. You are a confident storyteller who can lead stakeholders through the product development cycle.
• Excellent inter-personal skills with a proven track record of impacting, influencing and interacting with all levels of an organization
• Demonstrated ability to quickly process complex information and make sound business decisions
• Accustom to functioning in a demanding, fast-paced and evolving environment. Adaptable to shifting priorities and rapid changes.
• Experience working in an agile setting
