This will be a high-output role, focusing on ‘doing’, that will expose you to every aspect of a rapidly scaling startup. We’re a fast moving team and you will play a key role in our growth by delivering the most important thing needed to improve and build our product in any given week or month. We’re big fans of Inspired and the SVPG, we like to combine intuition and data, and we’re looking for people who are aligned with our mission and want to learn, grow and contribute.
We are looking for someone who is excited dig into the following:
-Develop, implement and launch business-to-business SaaS features (or whole products) as react quickly to new user and buyer opportunities.
-Collaborate with engineers, customer success, sales and customers to prioritize, design, launch, test, and iterate products.
-Drive efficient product management processes that work in service of speed not perfection and find the right balance between the important vs the urgent.
-Develop a deep understanding of the needs of our customer base. -Use this knowledge to develop first-class features and interfaces that create and improve upon the value of our products.
-Track the success of the product features that we launch and know how to iterate based on metrics and customer feedback – we use Heap for analytics.
-Ideally create product marketing collateral in collaboration with the Marketing lead to facilitate conversations with potential customers.
We’re not looking for a specific track record of X years of experience doing Y, though we would get really excited by the following experiences:
-3+ years of relevant PM work experience, preferably in B2B web-based applications but with a deep caring for users. More senior applicants will have a chance to own more responsibilities.
-Evidence of work in a fast-paced environment.
-Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills and an ability to work closely with a development team, collaborating with talented developers.
-Strong intuition about UX and design and evidence of sketching flows and prototypes, while also knowing how to use and collaborate with talented designers.
-You’re a self-starter who is able to juggle multiple projects at once.
-You have an owner’s mentality.
-You are hungry to learn and grow into more responsibility over time.
-You constantly seek out the most impactful ways to improve the product.
-You’re organized and take great pride in seeing projects through to completion.
-You have the time and energy to drive new initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
-You’re able to break down problems into the necessary pieces to begin tackling them.
-We are a partially remote team, and will be for the foreseeable future; you must be comfortable working with remote leadership. -We have a strong preference for this role to be located in Toronto but we are open to remote for the right person.
