About the Role
We have created the role of Sr. Product Manager for a customer obsessed, analytically minded professional with our growing product team. Make a huge impact and bring our vision to life as you develop and drive software product strategy within your designated CleanSlate UV portfolio.
What You’ll Own
Voice of the Customer: Know customer issues, pains, desires, how they think and use, how they decide to purchase.
Quantitative & Qualitative Data: Understand what customers are doing and why customers do what they do.
New Product Introduction: Define and own new product strategy, vision and long-term roadmap through customer interaction, market/competitor analysis and technology. Define and own product requirements with clearly defined dependencies and budget estimates validated with return on investments.
Current Product: Take the lead in defining the roadmap, prioritizing and delivering improvements to existing software products. Includes UX improvements, customer workflow validation, etc. Take the lead in adapting the current product to new markets, including new industry verticals and geographies.
Product expert: Become intimately familiar with product analytics, updates, marketing support, etc. to become a product expert. Know our top competitors, stay informed of key technology trends and follow relevant analysts and media communications. Know how the product must operate to win majority market share and how the product fits within a complex ecosystem.
Product Development: Define UI/UX requirements with validated user stories; lead the engineering team in UI/UX definition for the product and take part in the decision-making process. Define product use cases along with collateral needs to support sales. Drive a lean and agile software development process; define meaningful sprint cycles, and run constant data-driven experiments and A/B testing.
Business Development: Understand how our business works, and what role the product plays. Identify new business collaboration opportunities; own and drive partnership projects in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Work closely with our marketing team to identify collateral needs. Work with key stakeholders: Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Support. Know stakeholder constraints and deliver product consistent within them.
Success: Define and own the measurable success metrics for each of your initiatives; drive product development against those metrics.
What You’ll Bring
Proven experience in product management, demonstrated by shipping successful products (5+ years experience, start-up experience would be nice to have).
Lean and agile product development approach; you can validate concepts and bring features to market quickly, and iterate intelligently based on customer feedback.
Design thinking and user-centric design; you know how to take an empathetic approach to learn about your customers’ goals and pain points, and to discover new product opportunities.
Eyes on the road ahead; you’re a strategic thinker with the ability to align short-term objectives against a long-term roadmap.
Unmatched analytical skills and experience making data-driven decisions.
Solid technical understanding and experience in software development; you don’t write code, but you are comfortable discussing technical product details with engineers and you know the right questions to ask.
An engaging speaker and a persuasive writer; you can communicate complex ideas with simplicity, and can rally people behind your visions.
An obsession with learning; you’ve read the books, taken courses, and are hungry for the latest research about what it takes to develop and maintain a world-class B2B SaaS platform.
Industry experience in B2B SaaS and dashboard analytics is preferred. Experience with IoT and mobile apps (iOS and Android) software experiences a big bonus. Experience with the healthcare market is an even bigger bonus!
