Senior Product Manager

Reporting to the Principal Product Manager for our “Concur Request” product, the Product Manager will be responsible for helping to driving the roadmap, product development and growth for “Concur Request” product offerings and features. This position will be responsible for determining feature scope, translating objectives into functional requirements, driving projects to ensure that programs are completed in accordance with scope and schedule. Concur operates a monthly release cycle employing an Agile methodology and the Product Manager must be able to maintain high professional standards within a highly dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Stakeholders to determine priorities, scope and functional requirements.
  • Work closely with Development, Quality Engineering and User Experience teams, to translate business requirements into functional designs (“User Stories”) and specifications (“Acceptance Criteria”).
  • Backlog prioritization: Manage priorities between features, bug fixing, architecture and tests automation.
  • Act as an influent point of information to provide relevant and timely information for all stakeholders.
  • Drive new features through early-adopter / general availability / sunset lifecycle.
  • Manage trade-offs between schedule and customer need.
  • Utilize and build relevant metrics that help push the product forward.
  • Manage conflicts, detect and solve issues effectively with the stakeholders.
  • Work with Implementation and Client Support to assess the health of the product.

Education, Experience & Training required:

  • 3+ years of Product Management experience.
  • Experience with roadmap prioritization in an Agile environment.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and developing them into detailed functional specifications.
  • Ability to solve challenging business problems.
  • Proven ability to work with cross-functional, cross-cultural and global groups.
  • Ideally experience includes exposure to Travel and Expense management or related processes.
  • Broad understanding of SaaS concepts and underlying technology.
  • A degree in technical field or related discipline preferred.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Fluent English
  • French skills preferred.
