Principle Product Manager

The Opportunity
As a Principal Product Manager at Featurespace, you will help us protect customers around the world from financial fraud and risk through the management and oversight of our product, from conception to end of life of the solutions assigned.

You will act as the owner of the functional and business definition of products, initiatives, and solutions that deliver a meaningful reduction in losses and operational efficiency gains, resulting in delightful experiences for our customers whilst aligning with highest priority global business objectives.

You’ll be responsible for providing verbal and written communication to internal stakeholders on the product definition, industry requirements, solution specifications and timelines required, solution-specific roadmaps, marketing materials, and also commercial insights.

This role can be based at either our London or Cambridge offices.

Day to Day

Ownership and authorship of our present and future product lines
Creation of product specifications and requirements (functional and non-functional), appraising new product ideas inclusive of functionality, marketability, and deliverability of the product or packaging changes
Provide product strategy recommendations inclusive of industry, customer, and prospect data and metrics
Facilitate product design workshops and meetings, responsible for documenting all inputs and outputs, provide guidance and recommendation on approach to meet the proposed business requirements
Perform go-to-market analysis and activities inclusive of appropriate metrics, working in collaboration with other Product Managers, Marketing, Finance, Commercial and Legal as needed
Work directly with prospects and existing customers to understand market needs and define product requirements
Assess market competition to the product/solution assigned
Support and enable Commercial team to grow product market share through the development of product specific sales strategies
Partner with clients throughout the financial crime prevention journey to develop product/solution strategy as assigned
Partner with internal stakeholders to review assigned product strategy and ensure alignment
Ensure product requirements are designed with scalability and long-term vision in mind
Lead business and technical discussions with a high level of independence including requirements, customer experience, and security
Represent the voice of the customer to internal stakeholders; a natural design thinker that can synthesize requirements into a common set of capabilities, writing very clear, thorough and detailed user stories for complex features and product sets
Liaise with other business units, Commercial, Marketing, Delivery, and Engineering  teams to ensure open communication and flawless execution
Provide status, action plan, and recommendations to management on an ongoing basis

About You

Must-haves

Strong business and technical skills with a sound understanding of enterprise financial crime prevention for Fraud and AML risk management systems
Excellent communication skills and presence
Knowledge of global markets, competitive landscape, and related dynamics
Ability to think creatively to solve problems with the customer as the central focus
Aptitude and comfort to collaborate with engineering teams to build robust, reliable, and scalable financial crime solutions
Embrace change and ambiguity in an ecosystem that rapidly evolves
An understanding of software development concepts and techniques
Highly organised and detail-oriented with good writing, verbal, communication skills, people skills and concern for high standards
Ability to take on a varied and busy workload with a proven track record for delivery
Ambitious and smart; willing to learn and get up to speed quickly
Excellent working knowledge of Outlook, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, ProdPad
Willingness to travel up to 30%
