Hairstory is seeking a detail- and action-oriented Digital Product Analyst to support the advancement and maintenance of the Hairstory.com web application. As the Digital Product Analyst, you will sit at the nexus of Marketing, Engineering and Customer Experience.

You’ll dedicate yourself to understanding the needs of the business and marrying them with the needs of the customer, satisfying both through digital development. This position, reporting to the VP of Growth and Digital, has a high level of exposure and accountability to the Hairstory Executive Team and therefore carries a significant amount of responsibility and opportunity to influence Hairstory’s business, strategy, and growth.

You have the analytical firepower to take advantage of rich data and answer important questions.

Be the number one advocate for the digital shopper to create a best-in-class shopping experience
Constantly analyze and test along the path to purchase to optimize and re-optimize as new products are released
Act as our expert on experimentation, championing a hypothesis-driven culture that rapidly tests, measures and iterates. This means:Own end to end execution of experiments (A/B tests) that includes setup, QA, analysis and communication of results
Create output that tells the story behind the data to non-technical team members so they can execute more effectively.
Build and maintain dashboards, report on dashboards/key metrics to internal + external stakeholders
Own the write-up of product user stories; feature requirements and acceptance criteria, as well as the testing of new feature releases
Measure and report on shopping KPIs and digital product health as well as planning and execution to address identified gaps and opportunities
Collaborate with our Engineering Lead and VP Digital on sprint planning and product roadmap execution, prioritization and revision
Own responsibility for the population and maintenance of site content via the Content Management System (CMS) as well as the organization and facilitation of assets and content
Requirements
1-3 years of experience as a Management Consultant, Business Analyst or similar startup experience
Significant experience designing experiments and making difficult data-driven decisions (A/B experimentation, user testing, data analysis)
Knowledge of Google Analytics and/or an experimentation platform such as Optimizely, VWO, Hotjar, etc
Experience with site roadmap planning
Experience with sprint planning and agile development
Working proficiency in SQL
