Senior Product Manager

Shutl is the London startup revolutionising commerce by offering delivery in minutes or a time of the customer’s choice. In 2013, we were acquired by eBay to help build out their worldwide delivery offering and make Shutl a global brand.

Today, we’re building new products to transform delivery for small and medium sellers and their customers, backed by the world’s largest online marketplace and one of its best-known technology companies. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our mission.

What you’ll be doing

  • Defining product strategy.
  • Collaborating with business development, marketing, operations, eBay, merchant and courier partners. Keep everyone engaged.
  • Prioritising: You’ll have ownership and set priorities. You’ll also be very involved in design, analysis and testing.
  • Leading a team to build world-class products. Be prepared to get your hands dirty.

What you bring

  • More than just a team-player, you thrive on shared purpose, exchanging ideas and bringing the best out in each other.
  • Market awareness: You can develop a strategy and appreciate the challenge in marketing a complex service in a simple way.
  • Communication: A great listener, you grasp needs and motivations fast. You can articulate a vision and adapt your style to the audience.
  • Technical skills: Maybe you can code – if not, you’re comfortable discussing solutions with software engineers.
  • Education: BA/BSc degree level. Equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: 5+ years relevant experience, with a track record of delivery. Product manager, product owner, business analyst or roles with a large part of these. Complex and consumer products a plus.

What we bring

  • Opportunity: A small company with big support. With growth in UK and internationally, opportunity for scale, ownership and progression is strong.
  • Top tech & technologists: Work with a committed team to turn vision into reality.
  • Mature agile processes: Combining the best of Scrum, XP and Kanban. We believe in iterative problem solving and fast feedback.
  • Personal growth: We’re a small team of smart people who challenge each other to be better each day.
  • Great company culture from our “engi-beer-ing” meetups and demo days to collaboration around the business and loads of opportunity to get involved in interesting stuff.
  • Wonderful, bright, air-conditioned offices in Shoreditch, with bike racks (and shower!), between Liverpool St, Old Street and Shoreditch High Street stations for super easy commuting, and lots of great food/drink options nearby.
  • Competitive salary and generous benefits.

Shutl is an equal opportunity employer and we value diversity. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability status.
