About Turn2us
One in five people among us, over 14 million in total across the UK, are unable to thrive because of a lack of money. Turn2us exists to help people struggling to make ends meet.
We do this by giving direct financial help through our own charitable grants; supporting people to increase their income through benefits, grants and other support; and by highlighting ways to reduce essential costs.
About the role
We are looking for a Digital Project Manager to deliver some exciting digital projects with users at their heart. As Digital Project Manager, you will be a vital part of our fight against the poverty that is devastating lives across the UK today.
At Turn2us we have an ambitious digital roadmap to develop and consistently improve our digital platform and services to provide financial support and information to people facing and living in poverty.
Joining a vibrant and creative team, the right person will be passionate about tackling UK poverty, and driven to ensuring that users are at the heart of all our design and development processes. We are looking for someone with Agile/ SCRUM experience in digital project management.
As the Digital Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project planning and delivery of Turn2us’ digital projects. We are currently undertaking projects on Turn2us’ strategically important products – the new Benefits Calculator and Grants Search. The Benefits Calculator is in the Beta phase and the Grants Search is in discovery. You will lead Agile teams through out the projects working with the product owners, developers and the wider digital team on planning, reporting and resource scheduling for them.
An open and collaborative approach to delivering services is also essential. We believe that deep knowledge and understanding are created through discussion between people. We are looking for someone who can support colleagues at Turn2us to learn from, and improve, our work.
This is a key role for an ambitious charity and at an exciting time of change and growth. If you wish to be part of that, and to help improve the lives of people in vulnerable circumstances across the UK, we look forward to hearing from you.
