We are hiring a Product Manager to join our customer engagement team who are changing the way we think about loyalty and promotions across the business. The product manager will balance the customers voice and opinion along with the businesses desire to create an exciting and engaging loyalty and promotions platform.
This is an exciting role for an experienced product manager who can:
Collaborate with stakeholders to define, maintain and deliver a strategy for omni-channel loyalty and promotions.
Create clear problem statements, hypotheses and metrics that will motivate and inspire a team.
Document requirements and create specifications for any 3rd party teams.
Clearly articulate, identify and validate opportunities to a broad audience.
Empower a team to leverage data over opinion when working towards great business outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have experience of omni-channel customer behaviours, worked closely with stakeholders, define outcomes and success criteria and will have owned a shared a roadmap across their organisation.

The Team
You will be working in a multi-disciplinary team alongside a delivery manager, developers, QA, data engineering and UX. The team have selected the loyalty and promotions engine and are now working to implement loyalty as a service across a number of channels, such as ecommerce and retail whilst building a data pipeline to give insights to our consumers omni-channel experience.
You will also contribute towards the established community of practices at Footasylum for product managers to learn from other teams and promote better ways of working.
This is a chance to help us define and deliver a solution that creates a unique omni-channel shopping experience for our customers. You will work closely with the senior team of retail, merchandising, ecommerce and logistics as this experience impacts a significant number of business functions and is at the heart of our digital transformation journey.
About You
Within your current organisation, you are highly inquisitive. You spend time forming relationships with other business functions to create openness to allow the vision and strategy.
You support those around you, you are constantly learning and work in a kind, considerate and collaborative manner with a keen interest in new ways of working.
As product manager you will be bringing the ideas together to create a very clear and visible roadmap, encouraging your team to work in the open. You will discover the needs of the business and the customer and rally the team around them creating a roadmap of outcomes and objectives, to bring the two worlds together. You will build a collaborative culture by working closely with various business functions whilst leading a culture of experimentation to test the assumptions about the product journey. You will define the key metrics and targets and get the business intrigued by the insights the team are discovering.
You will be facilitating workshops to create a shared understanding the business problem, you will work with the team in delivering iteratively, creating quick feedback loops and testing assumptions as you go, to avoid a big bang approach. You will be able to prioritise the journey based around the cost of delay, business impact and qualitive data. You will always have an eye on value and delivering exceptional services. Your team will continuously inspect and adapt in order to improve how they work. At every point, you will have the support of your team and the business to do the right thing with autonomy, mastery, and purpose.

Salary and Benefits
We are offering a salary of up to £60,000 for the right person, which we assess based on your own experiences, delivery skills and against the principles of our department and our ways of working. You’ll also get access to our ‘FA Presents’ company benefits platform, 25 days holiday and pension as standard, and use of our training budget to help you develop your skills.

Recruitment Process

With the COVID-19 situation our teams are all working remotely, adjusting to this new way of working as best we can – and as such we’ll help make the interview process as clear and stress-free as possible, giving you the same opportunity as if we were meeting face to face.
Primarily the role will be remote and while there is no intention for the team to go back to full time office work any time soon, candidates within reasonable distance of our offices in Rochdale and Manchester are preferable to enable face to face team and stakeholder sessions in the future.
