DESCRIPTION
Property Partner is looking to hire a high calibre and passionate Product Owner to join our growing team. In the role you will be working closely with the engineers, QA and designers to make a scalable first-class product that allows anyone to invest in residential property.
Property Partner operates in a fast-learning agile environment, constantly looking to iterate, evolve and improve the product, and our working processes. You will be expected to own the end-to-end delivery of key projects for the business and you will be joining at the right time to really put your stamp on things and make an impact.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 2 or 3 years’ experience working as a Product Owner in a similarly fast paced and growing business
- Some Investment or financial services experience would be ideal
- Serve as a primary point of contact and business leader for your initiatives. Drive product requirements and work closely with the team to design and prototype product solutions that are viable and valuable, provide a great user experience and are technically feasible. Work across teams in the organization such as legal, finance, compliance, marketing to make sure all considerations, needs and constrains of other teams are taken into account
- Support development of the overall product strategy and roadmap, and as we grow and decentralize take more ownership. Manage product planning and prioritisation of the product backlog
- Integrate user research and data analysis into new product requirements, building an experience that customers will love. Set and own various metrics related to your area
- Communicate the product vision, concepts and ideas to the development team, providing context and the ‘why’ to upcoming features. Excellent written communication skills – key for writing good product specs and backlog stories. Ability to explain and educate customers (internal and external) on product changes
- Understand and implement Lean Startup principles – having the ability to learn, build and measure – repeatedly and at pace. Support the development team, adhering to agile principles
- Experience in release planning and management
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change
