We need a Product expert to enable growth and drive value into the business through the creation of and management of products through the entire product lifeycle. You will be responsible for developing features that solve customers’ problems today (and tomorrow) as well as maintaining existing features and functionality and ensuring the product continues to deliver value to our customers, partners, customers and consumers.

Ownership of the strategy and direction of the products you are responsible for
Ensure alignment of your products to the overall vision set by the CPO
Communicate product strategy and direction to business stakeholders such as Marketing and Revenue
Managing the product backlogs ensuring that they are prioritised to deliver maximum value to stakeholders
Create Product Backlog Items (PBIs), including defects, new requirements, knowledge spikes, POCs
Ensuring PBI’s meet the boundary policy (Definition of Ready) that enable engineers to deliver the work
Where needed, produce product scoping documentation that enable suppliers to provide delivery timelines and costings (Technology suppliers) and deliver product to meeting our needs
Maintain the Product Roadmaps for your respected areas of ownership and provide roadmap versions suitable for internal, customer and public consumption
Work with the Product & Market Analyst to ensure data is part of the priorisation decision making process
Support the wider Team as appropriate including, but not limited to, product strategy workshops/round tables, sharing product knowledge and attendance at events with our partners and customers.
Collaborate with product marketers and instructional designers to enable successful launch and communications of new releases.
Provide assistance to the CPO or other senior stakeholders as required.
Adopt an agile approach to working at all times.
Worked in a high-speed and autonomous product delivery environment
Has a deep understanding of the product lifecycle
Can pull on different frameworks and ways of working to get best results for the business
CSPO or CSM certification is preferable – but experience is key
Can create user stories, document requirements, organize sprints, communicate release plans.
Knowledge, experience, skills, other attributes
Experience in the Telco and Communications industry
Some experience in financial products
Experience in management of SaaS products
Excellent working knowledge of Agile/Kanban methodologies.
A passionate for excellence and delivering the highest possible user experience for users through effective design and management of our products.
Ability to collaborate with customers and/or partners to assist them to clearly articulate their requirements and to influence them to obtain the best product outcomes.
Ability to transpose requirements into clear user stories that deliver robust and delightful product solutions that can scale, are commercially viable and working within the business’ risk parameters.
Naturally inquisitive about new technology/products
Education & Qualifications
Degree level qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
Certified Scrum Product owner CSPO/Certified ScumMaster (Advantageous)
Must be able to lead – to get people to work for you without direct management
Highly self-organised and able to manage and prioritise a significant workload with competing demands.
Able to communicate with a wide range of personas, with the ability to tailor the communication style to be appropriate to the audience.
Must be able to think creatively to overcome issues and problem solve in a systematic way.
Able to influence people, obtain buy-in and drive projects through.
Able to present product information, demonstrations and concepts to a wide range of personas.
