The contractor will answer to the existing Product Manager who is in charge of Archival. The contractor will work in support of him and will be expected to support him in the completion of key milestones related to the Archival program (including, but not limited to):
Create business cases and other financial models as needed to support strategic decisions for the portfolio
Support the decision-making and planning for data center deployments
Document and translate identified product requirements into Epics and Features in the agile framework
Development of sales or marketing collateral in conjunction with the marketing team
Interfacing with cross-functional stakeholders to support completion of go-to-market activities
Define financial or billing requirements for the product and drive their implementation
Working with sales team for development of sales training plan
Working with operations team for development of operations training plan and support model
Creating multiple forms of documentation of product decisions, timelines, program progress, and more
The contractor’s experience and competencies should include:
3+ years Product Management experience in enterprise technology
Experience in cloud computing, enterprise information governance, or financial services strongly preferred
Exceptional analytical skills
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or economics preferred
Exceptional problem solving skills
Strong written communications
Extensive program management experience or experience launching new products
