Director, Product Manager – Consumer Experience

Reporting to the Vice President of Products, the Director of Consumer Experience will manage RE/MAX’s consumer product solutions. Overseeing one of the top real estate websites in the world and the companion mobile application, this position is responsible for the strategy and success of the RE/MAX consumer digital properties. Responsibilities include market analysis, customer research, solution definition, new product development, partnership development, and defining and executing against quantifiable objectives and key results to support business goals. The position requires strong communication and collaboration skills, working across internal teams to develop product, drive growth and engagement, coordinate operational delivery, and deliver value to the RE/MAX membership though an exceptional agent-consumer experience.
Essential Duties
Oversee the product management team to deliver on the product priorities, roadmap and objectives and key results
Build a data-driven product culture that encourages innovation, experimentation and rapid iteration
Be a company expert on the consumer real estate search market and competition across the RE/MAX consumer platform and products
Develop strong agent-consumer experiences and growth strategies that leverage the RE/MAX consumer experience into leads, customer development, long term client relationships, and customer satisfaction
Collaborate with executives, leadership, product management, engineering, and other key stakeholders to translate their vision into programs with measurable outcomes
Define, track, and communicate metrics that help understand how well initiatives are meeting objectives
Build and maintain the business case for products, including market opportunity models, user personas, and use cases
Build and improve processes for collecting customer feedback, building requirements, and maintaining long-term product roadmap.
Engage with customers through interviews, small group sessions, and broader market research; gather and understand their pain points, needs, and aspirations
Work directly Marketing, Regional Development, Technology Engagement, Support and other key stakeholders in the go-to-market planning and execution, and messaging and positioning
Participate in the business development and partnership building activities (demos for potential partners, roadmap alignments)
Validate the product developed by Engineering against the product vision and product requirements

Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree
Master’s degree in business, marketing or technology highly preferred
10+ years of consumer software product management experience with 3-5+ years of experience leading a team
Experience in the Real Estate industry strongly desired
Strong analytics background, with demonstrated experience in data-driven product strategy, experimentation, engagement marketing and growth management
Strong design aesthetic with passion for user experience
Extensive experience operating in an agile environment to deliver high quality products rapidly and iteratively
Proven delivery of large-scale products that have been brought to market and shown ongoing increasing adoption and engagement
Top notch verbal and written communication skills
Customer focused and passionate about building happy, high-performing teams
A strong passion for technology and a strong aptitude for business strategy
An in-depth understanding of IT service providers, managed services and cloud services
Prior experience building platforms for consumer engagement
Have strongly held opinions and principles but are willing to be flexible when needed
