Product Manager

Full-Time Edinburgh Salary: 50,000 - 60,000

Pawprint was founded in 2019 and the free consumer product was ‘soft launched’ in 2020. The Pawprint business product is now under development and we have a busy roadmap for 2021 and beyond. Our product team is empowered to understand the needs of our customers and users and to build a product they love. We are now seeking a Product Manager to orchestrate our product team and ensure our product engages and wows.

Our ambition is to empower people to fight climate change using the Pawprint online tool (and ultimately App) to measure, understand and reduce their carbon footprint. The Pawprint team is a group of like-minded individuals, determined to give people the power to do their bit for the planet. Pawprint isn’t about guilt trips, it’s about making incremental steps towards

living a lower carbon lifestyle. Whether those are small, big, or massive steps, we’re simply excited to walk with you on the journey.

Requirements
The Product Manager should have:
Extensive experience as a Product Manager of technology powered product(s)
Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks
Experience in the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
Demonstrated ability to engage with engineers, designers, marketers and company leaders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
An analytical, data driven mindset but also an ability to trust your gut. We’ll interrogate data to ensure we focus on what works, but where that’s not possible we also need great professional judgment
SaaS product management experience, ideally in a B2B environment

Also desirable is previous experience scaling a mobile first business from zero to hundreds of thousands of users and customers

The Product Manager will:
Become expert in our users and customers, and the ‘jobs to be done’ around sustainability within businesses
Become expert in our product, data and industry (including competitors, technology, customer behaviours and customer expectations)
Contribute to the Pawprint roadmap and vision and be responsible for delivery
Ensure that product solutions are valuable for the customers and users, but also viable and feasible to be delivered
Manage and prioritise our backlog of ideas and enhancements, working closely with Head of Technology, to ensure new ideas are captured
Orchestrate and coordinate effective running of our Product Team, ensuring contributions from all stakeholders and a collaborative environment
