Role Description
Product is currently owned by one of the co-founders and we’re looking for someone we respect to build and define the product vision in a fast growing company. We are comfortable to give full reign to the right person.
What you’ll be doing
- Create and articulate the vision for what long-term success looks like for all 4 GAT products
- Define and maintain a 30/60/90 day product roadmap (based on a 1-year plan) that is iterated/updated every quarter (at a minimum)
- Define clear technical requirements of all 4 products based on market research
- Minimum 4 external conversation per month with customers/prospects/competitors/etc
- Increase engagement on all 4 products by a % agreed at the beginning of each quarter
- Maintain relationships with all departments by keeping teams updated in regular bi-weekly product meeting
Your Skills & Experience
- Track Record in owning and delivering B2B tech products – You worked on a B2B tech product in a previous role (min 3 years).
- Strategic thinking / visioning – You are able to see and communicate the big picture in an inspiring way. You determine opportunities and threats through comprehensive analysis of current and future trends.
- UX Experience – You have created product wireframes and flows before.
- Organisation and planning – You plan, organize, schedule, and budget in an efficient and productive manner. You focus on key priorities.
- Follow through on commitments – You live up to verbal and written agreements.
- Analytical skills – You are able to structure and process qualitative or quantitative data and draw insightful conclusions from it. You exhibit a probing mind and achieve penetrating insights.
- Attention to details – You don’t let important details slip through the cracks or derail a project.
- Proactivity – You act without being told what to do. You bring new ideas to the company.
- Creativity / Innovation – You generate new and innovative approaches to problems.
- Communication – You’re able to speak and write clearly and articulately without being overly verbose or talkative. You can maintain this standard in all forms of written communication, including emails.
- Important vs Urgent – You’ve worked on projects for long enough to know the difference between what’s important for success vs urgent needs.
