  1. Product Manager

The primary purpose of this role is to build and manage solution(s) strategy through an in depth understanding of the healthcare industry that supports continued growth based upon market needs in alignment with overall strategic business goals and objectives. For his/her given area of solution responsibility, the financial responsibility is to manage the investments and targeted revenue. The Product Strategy Manager represents the solution to the business for proposals and results.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Identifies market problems, looking for unsolved problems that are both urgent and pervasive and

that healthcare leaders are willing to pay to solve

  • Defines market requirements that communicates problem(s) to be solved and who we are solving it for
  • Monitors and analyzes solution metrics to assess how well solutions perform, including actual to planned revenue, usage stats, operations SLAs, customer satisfaction, market share and profitability
  • Captures “Voice of the Customer” for use in innovation strategy and planning future solution enhancements
  • Defines Solution Vision that supports strategic plan; update annually
  • Conducts market research on users around a specific solution innovation and describe the solution to be offered to the market, including solution positioning and market messaging for key buyers
  • Prepares business cases for proposed solutions, providing an objective analysis of a potential new market opportunity to be used as a basis for investment decisions
  • Creates market-facing roadmaps to communicate vision
  • Evaluates buy/build/partner opportunities for extending our solutions, including business cases to support the recommendation and on-going management of the partnerships
  • Champions user centered design, ensuring that our solutions are based on best practices
  • Plan and deliver solution training to internal staff to support launch
  • Manages customer commitments for capabilities not currently part of a production release
  • Manages customer advisory groups around specific markets / solutions to discuss existing solutions and future innovation ideas
  • Provides sales support assistance as needed, including RFP boiler creation, solution design leadership, and product advocacy
  • Performs competitive analysis by tracking competitor product features and market-share; develop competitive differentiation strategy

Specific accountabilities for Sr. Solutions Manager – Certification

  • Participate and represent CareCloud in industry conferences (e.g. HIMSS, MGMA, etc.)
  • Participate and represent CareCloud in industry workgroups
  • Monitor and coordinate CareCloud participation in standards organizations applicable to

EHRT/CHIT

  • Review, provide comment, and interpret regulatory publications
  • Coordinate the cross-functional review of certification requirements from regulatory publications
  • Provide educational webinars for internal and external audiences
  • Contribute to corporate and product business strategy
  • Facilitate determination of technical solution and workflow to meet certification requirements
  • Monitor and ensure compliance of product certification and re-certification (e.g. timelines, inheritance certification)
  • Maintain CEHRT Criteria List (e.g. ONC 2015 Edition Health IT Certification Criteria)
  • Cross-reference CEHRT criteria to CMS programs
  • Monitor certification test methods and educate product teams (i.e. Test Tools, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Data)
  • Coordination with ONC-Authorized Certification Bodies (ONC-ACBs) (e.g. Drummond Group)
  • Travel as needed to meet accountabilities for this role (estimated to be 40%)

 

 

Qualifications: Academic and professional qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Computer Science, Mathematics or related disciplines.
  • Pragmatic Marketing or similar Product Management Certification desired

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence decisions including senior level leaders
  • 8 years’ experience in product management or marketing in the healthcare or software industry
  • Ability to think creatively and to contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions
  • Ability to understand and interact with technically-oriented team members
  • Ability to understand and articulate business implications of technical issues
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability; ability to define complex problems and creatively frame solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to lead large, cross-functional initiatives or projects
