Analytics Program and Product Management Director

The Director of Program and Product Management for Enterprise Analytics has a singular focus:  ensuring that we build the right data products, the right way.

This leader is responsible for developing, managing, enabling, and enforcing processes that govern the creation and delivery of analytics programs and products using modern, customer-driven, market-responsive, technically robust, and agile methodologies.

 

You will be responsible for driving efficiency, optimizing analytic practices and processes, and managing the benefits (e.g., ROI) of analytics and to facilitate our ability to scale and create economic value from our data assets.

 

In this role will coordinate best practices and processes for service delivery and product development to ensure that we are creating value for the organization. You will actively engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that we are aligned, transparent, and that our processes promote business agility, flexibility, and enduring quality in our products and services.  Implement and evangelize the use of Scaled Agile (SAFe) and Human-Centered Design principles and empower our caregivers through enablement, training, and coaching based on design thinking and the principles of change management.

Enterprise Analytics is built on a culture of experimentation, innovation, and consultative approach. As a facilitator of enterprise insights and data products, this role ensures collaborative partnerships with leaders across the enterprise. Through routine, direct engagement with analytics customers across the health system, this role provides support for the development of actionable insights and provides a critical linkage between the strategies of both analytics and the organization to achieve breakthrough performance for all Intermountain Healthcare stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in product management, human-centered design, data science/ analytics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, business, or social science with heavy quantitative analysis, or related field strongly desired. Education must be obtained through an accredited institution. Degree will be verified.
Professional experience in a project and product management role where you have developed economically valuable, viable, and durable products.
Experience in managing products or a large portfolio of projects or similar coordination across a large range of priorities using Agile best practices and solutions.
Practical use of design thinking, innovation or experimentation strategies designed to improve adoption, utilization and the impact of analytics products.
Experience in gathering input from customers, human-centered user research activities, facilitating discovery sessions, educating teams on product management principles, and in negotiating priorities.
Experience in a role requiring strong analytical, communication, technical, and multi-disciplinary leadership skills including engaging with, presenting recommendations to, and influencing strategic and tactical decision-making among executive leadership, including at the C-level.
Exposure to the use of information technology and application of analytics for business and clinical analysis, operations analysis, and business process modeling.

Experience in a healthcare environment. Understanding of HIPAA and other applicable statutes or regulations concerning patient privacy and appropriate use and sharing of healthcare data.
