The Position
Reporting to the Director of Product, the ideal Growth Product Manager will work closely with UX designers, developers, and other business stakeholders to uncover insights that unlock growth opportunities across the entire user journey. The role will champion product led growth (PLG) and be responsible for improving conversions from free user to paid user, driving product qualified leads, increase user activation and contribute towards overall product performance.
This role will be tasked with new product development (from ideation to MVP and launch) and owning the growth metrics post launch.
Responsibilities
Lead the product discovery process through a combination of market and user research, user feedback, and internal brainstorming and ideation.
Identify bottlenecks and brainstorm solutions to improve conversion and find new growth opportunities throughout the user journey.
Embrace the testing process; help develop and deploy hypothesis-driven product changes and split tests and capture insights and communicate to the broader team.
Execute the end-to-end product development process together with engineers, designers, analysts, and other go-to-market teams.
Conduct market analysis to validate product competitive positioning in the marketplace
Work closely with sales, marketing, support & customer success to execute feature launches and user adoption plans while training internal teams and creating documentation
Work closely with customers and internal teams (CS, Support, Sales) to gather feedback on product initiatives and enhancement requests
Utilize data tools such as Mixpanel, User IQ, Pendo, Split.io, Lookr etc to gather product insights and execute on key learnings
Analyze sales and customer retention data to validate product fit
Prioritize and define the product roadmap objectives and regularly communicate progress to leadership
Qualifications
5+ years of product management experience working cross-functionally with various teams in a B2C or SAAS B2B environment
3+ Experience with A/B testing, experimentation and owning growth metrics
Experience in working with products with free to paid user conversion is must
Building and launching products at leading tech/saas companies
Experience working with engineers and designers on product development
Core product management skills around managing sprints, creating user stories, tracking requirements, and acceptance criteria
Experience with marketing/analytics technologies (e.g. Segment, Amplitude)
