Project Admission is a tech platform that works directly with the live event industry to expand ticket distribution. Our products empower brands, influencers, and fans by allowing them to buy and sell authentic tickets through individually branded marketplaces. We capture more revenue, reach new audiences, and collect more data through identity-based ticketing. Though still a young company, we are already partnering and working with a number of key players in the music and sports industries that have validated our approach and direction.

[The Role]

Project Admission is looking for a Technical Product Manager that has a strong background in the technical side of building a product and preferably experience as a software developer. You will be critical to the technical translation of features as they move from the product team to the engineering organization. You will report to the Head of Product and will interface with engineering managers and engineers to drive technical solutions, estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources.

[Responsibilities]

Write clear and concise user stories by clearly defining the success criteria for product acceptance, and effectively communicate them.
Ensure requirements are fully understood and that implementation plans match expectations.
Understand complex, logic-driven features and build upon and enhance them.
Provide internal and customer training on how to use the product.
Facilitate the creation and maintenance of proper product documentation.
Answer technical questions about the product and its capabilities.
Serve as a product and subject matter expert to third party/client developers.
Assess and address technical risks.
[Requirements]

1+ years of experience as a product manager.
3+ years of experience in an engineering, analyst, and/or other technical roles.
A history of proven product results and leadership.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills at all levels of an organization and within a strong technical environment.
Self-motivated, compassionate, and empathetic active listener.
Strong sense of ownership and passion for technology.
Familiarity with JIRA (or other task tracking tools) for managing user stories and agile release cycles.

Experience in the live events or ticketing industries.
Background in software development or a related field, or a degree in computer science.
