Your responsibilities as a Product Manager at The Business of Fashion:
- Own the overarching goals of user acquisition, engagement, conversion and retention, supporting a thriving community of users
- Analyse data and product KPIs to understand reader consumption and inform priorities
- Identify emerging and future opportunities
- Collaborate with stakeholders from multiple departments to agree business strategy
- Concept new products, features and business opportunities
- Understand and articulate business/customer value
- Determine a roadmap to deliver value to readers and to the business via frequent iteration
- Design innovative solutions alongside UX design and a tech lead counterpart
- Draft stories, prioritise features and manage scope and defects to deliver quality solutions to deadline
- Work closely with a team of developers to deliver multiple concurrent enhancements
The Ideal Candidate
Experience must include:
- 5+ years’ product management experience
- Previous experience within a high-growth digital publishing or subscription business (not required, but highly advantageous)
- Delivering websites, apps or other online digital products alongside a development team
- Working within an agile development environment
- Making decisions based on data and insight
- Fashion industry experience (a benefit, but not required)
Skills we would like you to have:
- Practical knowledge of the entire product lifecycle, from insight / analysis, roadmap development, UX, UI and data driven approaches
- Customer focused and business savvy (and able to balance the two!)
- Positive, pragmatic and collaborative
