Director of Product Management

The Cru is looking for an ambitious and collaborative Director of Digital Product to join our team. This role reports into the COO and will be responsible for setting the strategy for our digital roadmap and for overseeing the execution for our digital product updates, across web, desktop and mobile experiences. The Director of Digital Product will define the next generation of The Cru’s member-centric experiences and features for the digital product roadmap, in alignment with our strategic key initiatives to help us grow and scale. More specifically, this role will be responsible for leading and developing the evolution of our digital member experience, focusing on delivering an optimized applicant user journey and improved  customer (member) experience, informed by insights and UX best practices.

 

What you’ll do:

In alignment with strategic key initiatives and business goals, develop, own and drive forward the digital product roadmap and member experiences across desktop, mobile, and web.

Ensure that member and applicant needs, as well as business requirements are translated into features and functionality for web & mobile experiences, aiming to exceed business and customer goals.

Improve member satisfaction, usability, reliability and operational efficiency by continually monitoring performance data and KPIs.

Develop framework for testing, informed by key insights and customer feedback.

Work with various stakeholders to jointly craft requirements to define and document features

Facilitate sessions with Member Experience, Design and Brand Marketing teams to document wireframes, UX, etc. Collaborate with Design and Brand Marketing to workshop customer-focused ideas.

Work with the Engineering team to bring our vision to life.

Manage maintenance of the products and ongoing issues and defects.

Solicit feedback from stakeholders and monitor user feedback to prioritize new features and ongoing improvements.

Track industry and marketplace trends to continually assess and enhance functionality for user experience.

Participate in ongoing evaluation of new technologies and services.

Budget planning and reforecasting. Negotiation and ownership of SOW and contracts with product vendor partners.

 

Requirements
Passion for the advancement of women and the opportunity to build and scale a company dedicated to empowering women.

5-7 years of experience in digital product management, with experience at subscription or membership-centric companies is a plus.

Deep desire to understand and optimize digital customer journey and product performance, with an emphasis on user-driven product design and data-driven refinement.

Analytical mind set with data driven decision making skills and proven ability to creatively problem solve.

Experience in Agile methodologies and able to act as process leader as needed.

Experience with tools such as Google Analytics and Hubspot.

Able to work independently, be self-motivated, and be highly engaged, and is excited to partner with others to constantly improve the experience.

Mastery in putting together project plans and managing multiple work streams.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to clearly and articulately communicate across a diverse set of stakeholders, both generally and technically.

Tried-and-true partner and collaborator who exhibits a knack for working cross functionally and considering multiple viewpoints. Provides context and background so that everyone understands and can make informed decisions.

Thrives in a fast-paced environment and can quickly adapt to or pivot due to unexpected changes in set plans.

This role is ultimately based in New York / the Tri-State area, though will be remote during the pandemic.
